My friend, you know Florida is quite notorious when it comes to counterfeit goods. Fake Designer Bags are quite the trend here, you can get everything from Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, and the like for dirt cheap prices and people flock here to get them. So today, I was out with some of my friends in Miami, and one of them wanted to get her hands on a fake designer bag. I couldn’t turn her down and decided to take her to one of the markets here.
We went to the market and it was just oozing with these fake designer bags everywhere. All sorts of models, designs, colors were on display in these roadside stalls and it was too hard to overlook their attraction. We went from store to store, each one had a different storeowner pleading us to buy their counterfeit wares. It was quite overwhelming to be honest because you just can’t wrap your head around the sheer amount of fakes present.
When we finally found a store that sold decent quality fake designer bags, my friend bought a Louis Vuitton tote. Mind you, the storeowner was trying to rip us off and we had to negotiate vigorously to bring down the price to the bare minimum. But with some bargaining skills and a little bit of luck, we ended up getting a good deal and my friend happily left with her new bag.
Now when we got back we checked out the bag and initially, it looked convincing enough to pass as real. Sure, the leather was a bit rough in certain areas and the stitching wasn’t perfect, but that doesn’t really bother people all that often. I mean a fake designer bag is a replica of the real one and there are bound to be some minor imperfections in it. So, we were content with the purchase made.
But the irony hit us once we started using the bag in real life. I mean, sure it may look convincing but it’s nothing more than a sham. You could tell that it was fake as soon as it came in contact with air. The leather went bad and the colors started fading and it just got worn out much faster than we anticipated. It had really cheap hardware and the logo had faded just months after purchase.
It was quite surprising to witness the average quality of the bag. I mean there was a good reason we had to negotiate for the price. It was obvious that the bag was not going to last and yet, there is such an existence of good quality fake designer bags here in Florida. It was quite a scam -you can’t tell if its real or not unless you try it out in real life.
So, if you’re thinking about getting a fancy fake designer bag in Florida, think twice before doing it. It may look credible and the storeowner might be persuasive as well, but more than often it is nothing but a sham that will wear and tear in months. Always go for genuine instead because only good quality products have the power to last.
