This summer, I had so much fun making easy realistic fake rocks from bags! I couldn’t believe how cool it was to make my own little pieces of décor that looked like real rocks which could easily blend in with my garden. With a few simple supplies, I was able to create an outdoor oasis and really spruce up my backyard. Here’s a look at what I did to craft my own fake rocks.

To start off, I bought some chunky rocks at the garden center. After I got the rocks home, I placed them in large fabric bags and cut off excess material. Then, I mixed up some plaster and poured it into the bags, filling them up completely. After the plaster set, I removed the rocks, trimmed the material away, and voila!—my own fake rocks!

Next, I decorated the rocks with paint and various types of gravel. I used red and black acrylic paint to add some color and texture while using the gravel to give it an extra oomph. I had a lot of fun with this part and I got really creative with it! After the paint dried, I carefully placed the rocks in my garden. With some extra pieces of garden supplies, I was able to make my fake rocks look quite realistic and blend in with the rest of my garden.

I wanted to create a whole little paradise and the fake rocks really helped me do that. I placed some of the bigger rocks together to create a little landscape or hill. I then placed the gravel around the rocks and added a few fake plants, figurines, and even a little pond for a really authentic look. Now, my backyard looks like an outdoor sanctuary and I’m so in love with it!

The best part of making the fake rocks was that it was such an easy task. The supplies were affordable, the look was beautiful, and I was able to create something that looked so realistic. Even my friends were surprised to learn that those interesting rocks were actually fake! I was really happy with how it turned out and I even kept some of the leftover gravel to use in the future.

Overall, making easy realistic fake rocks from bags was a great experience. It was a lot of fun and I definitely recommend it! I’m so impressed with the way my garden turned out and I can’t believe how much it has been transformed. From simple bags and plaster to a whole outdoor oasis, the possibilities are endless and it’s so cool to see what I can come up with.
