Oh man, I have got some crazy story for you about this fake Bape plastic bag I got!
It all started when I was at the mall looking for something to buy for my little sister. She loves everything Bape so I thought why not get her a super cute and colorful plastic bag for her to use on school trips. Little did I know that all the Bape plastic bags had this holographic design and it was really hard to tell between the real and fake ones!
Anyway, I stumbled across this Bape plastic bag and it looked so legit! The colors were just popping and the holographic design gave it just this magical look. I was like “I gotta have it”, so I made the mistake of buying it without double-checking if it was genuine or not.
Once I got home, I took it out the bag and was gonna wrap it up for my sister. That’s when I noticed something was off: the stitching was really sloppy, and there were some tiny spelling mistakes on the tag. That’s when I knew I’d been scammed and bought a fake Bape plastic bag!
I was kinda bummed out, as I was so sure it was real. I mean, even a couple of weeks later, if you saw the bag, you probably wouldn’t be able to tell it was a fake! That’s how impressive the bag looked and it still wasn’t real!
I quickly found out that it was almost impossible to get a refund, and even if I did, they’d probably only give me a tiny part of the money I’d paid. I was super annoyed, so I decided just to keep it and give it to my sister.
I figured that if it’s really hard to tell the difference, then why should my sister miss out on having such a cool looking Bape plastic bag? So in the end, I guess it all turned out OK!
Fast forward a few months, and my sister is still using her fake Bape plastic bag. It doesn’t seem like it’s gonna break anytime soon either, which is great. To be honest, her friends are so impressed by the bag and wanna know where she got it. I’m just glad she hasn’t found out that it’s not real yet!
The funny thing is, my sister actually loves her fake Bape plastic bag more than her real one! She says it’s more comfortable and easier to carry on her back. Everyone including myself thought that she’d be a bit upset when she found out the truth, but it turns out, that couldn’t be farther away from the truth.
It just goes to show that the saying “fake it ‘til you make it” can be applicable to even plastic bags. I guess when something looks so sweet, what does it matter if it’s real or not?
Now that shopping online has become the norm, it’s really hard to tell if something is real or fake. It’s definitely a game of luck and takes a lot of research to make sure you’re getting the real deal! I’ve actually heard plenty of horror stories of people getting scammed and having to pay lots of money for something they thought was real.
Thankfully, I’ve been lucky enough so far and have only had to deal with fake Bape plastic bags. I’m pretty sure I won’t be making that mistake again anytime soon!
My sister is still happily using her fake bag and it really looks great on her. We joke about it sometimes and when I tell her it’s fake, she gives me a look like she doesn’t care. I think that’s the moral of the story: if it looks good enough and works fine, then why not get it?
Of course, there’s the ethical point of view that counterfeit bags are harmful to the designer industry. That said, I don’t think all counterfeits are bad. As long as you get products that are up to standard and people are getting a fair price, then I don’t really see the problem with that.
Plus, if you get a good fake Bape plastic bag, like my sister, then you can actually save money! It’s a tricky situation, to be sure, but I think it all comes down to personal preference. What do you think?
