adidas bag original vs fake

Hey friend, it’s time we have a chat about buying stuff, and specifically about Adidas bags. I know, I know, every time I talk about this issue, I get so mad, but please bear with me a bit.

When it comes to buying the hottest, most in-demand item of the season, there’s a very real issue we have to deal with: originals vs fakes. It’s like a game within a game and one that totally stresses me out. You can spend so much time getting your hands on the newest or most wanted item, only to be disappointed at the end.

The thing about originals vs fakes is, the quality of the Adidas bag will be obvious right away. It’s either obvious or it isn’t and you don’t want to be caught out with a crappy fake that will disintegrate after a few months. It makes a big difference too when it comes to messages and symbols – the attention to detail, you know?

I mean, if it feels too good to be true, it probably is. Fake bags are often made of much thinner materials, arelightly to cheaply constructed, and the materials look and feelAAA cheap. Unless you’re going for a vintage look – say, an faux-aged leather bag – don’t mess around with a fake, because it’s obvious right away.

The sure-fire way of knowing you have an original is to know what the piece looks like, inside and out. If you can identify all the uniquefaux vintage symbols and details of the bag, you know you have the real thing.

So I just stick with the buys I know are legit. My wait list is always long and I often benefit from discounts, especially when I get onto the designer’s mailing list. Also, shops like online and in-stores have a good rep, so I’m comfortable.

Still, it never fails to amaze me how much difference there is in the quality when I see the real version of the product, compared to some of the fake versions I come across. Fake designer pieces are missing the intricate little touches that make the bag so special, and which make it look and last the way an original does.

The cost savings with fake designer pieces definitely don’t make up for the disappointment you’ll feel when you wear it for a few minutes or a few weeks. Making a choice between a fake and an original is kind of exhausting, and I know most of us have got better things to do.

Sometimes I can’t help but wonder what would be the fun in wearing a fake. Sure, you feel smug because you got something for a lower price, but you’re hiding the fact it’s not an original, and I’m guessing nobody likes that feeling. Besides, the recognition we get for wearing something iconic has a lot to do with how proud we are of our choices.

Sometimes I question why anyone would bother buying a fake just to save a few bucks. I mean, if it’s a case of not having the money to buy the real deal, I understand – but if it’s purely a case of scrimping to save a few bucks, it doesn’t make any sense.

At the end of the day, you want something that looks as good in real life as it does on the page. Don’t get me wrong – there are some impressive knock-offs out there, but it takes an expert to know the difference. Genuine pieces tend to look a little bit better than knock-offs, and they’ll last a lot longer too.

When you’re buying something like an Adidas bag, or anything designer for that matter, you want to be sure you invest in the real deal. With knock-offs, you’ll either know right away or you’ll get a shock when you least expect it.

In my experience, there’s no better feeling than owning that one-of-a-kind bag. There’s just something about it – the craftsmanship, the style, the uniqueness – that makes it so special. It’s like a part of me and the feeling of pride I have when I’m carrying it around is enough to make me want to buy original pieces over and again. It has me feeling like I’m wearing a piece of genuine history and that makes it oh so sweet.

It’s not just about how it looks either; an original bag is a significant investment, so you want to be sure that your bag will last you for years to come. Fake bags are usually made with low-quality materials and wouldn’t hold up to the same level of wear and tear as the real deal. You want something lovely and well put-together that will stand the test of time.

Also, originals retain their value better in terms of reselling and perking up a wardrobe. As much as I hate to admit it, we all know that status symbols still count for something. There’s more to it than that though, the feeling that comes with owning something that’s high quality and is worth every penny.

And finally, wearing an original lends a certain level of confidence, which is so important when carrying a designer bag. You want to feel good in it and know that you’re playing the game, especially when competing with others with their flashy fake bags. That’s why originals are a must, no matter the cost.

I’m often incredibly careful and do as much research as possible before I make a purchase. Sometimes I feel like an investigator, but I don’t mind – my wallet and dignity are worth the effort. Because, at the end of the day, I’m certain of one thing: originals are always better than fakes.
