So I guess you must have heard of this thing called ‘Fake designer bags and backpacks’? I mean, it’s been all the rage lately. Well, I had a chance to experience it firsthand quite recently. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I bought a knock-off. No, I only just had the opportunity to check out one up close.
At first I was really shocked to see the quality of the stitching and the construction of the fabric. I mean, it was almost identical to the real thing. I mean, I hate to admit it but it was actually pretty impressive. But then, I got to thinking, for all I knew it could be made of cheap materials and knock-offs aren’t exactly known for their quality.
Still, I couldn’t help but be tempted by the design and the price. I mean, I wanted to buy it so badly. I mean, I figured if I didn’t like it I’d just take it back and switch it out for another one. But then I realized that even if I gave the bag to someone, it would still leave me with a feeling of guilt for buying something that isn’t the real thing.
So I decided I would save the money I had and buy the real bag instead. It was much more expensive of course, but I know that it would last me for much longer and that it was a better investment. I just know I won’t regret it in the long run.
So that’s my experience with the fake designer bags and backpacks. I’m sure everyone has a different experience and thought process about it, but at the end of the day I’m glad that I chose to buy the real one instead. I think that’s the best way to go.
Now that I got to experience the fake bags, let’s talk a bit about the difference between that of a real and a fake designer bag. There’s definitely a huge discrepancy between the two, both aesthetically and in terms of quality. A real designer bag is going to make use of higher-quality materials and also come with a warranty of some kind. Fake bags generally come with no warranty and are used to imitate the original.
Oftentimes, real designer bags will also offer a range of features which the faux ones don’t. The faux bag may have the right external appearance, but it cannot replicate the feel and functionality of the real bag. Additionally, the fake bags don’t last as long as genuine bags – they start to fade and break apart more quickly, so you’d have to replace them way more often than a real one.
And when it comes to the price, there’s really not much comparison. Real designer bags really do cost more, as they are made with higher-quality materials and tend to last longer. I’m sure you’ve all seen how much more expensive the brand name bags are than those of the counterfeit variety.
But if you’re considering getting a fake bag or one of the counterfeits, keep in mind that it’s not worth the cheaper price. The materials used are going to be inferior in quality, and most likely will be of less value after wearing and washing them. In the long run, you’ll be much better off getting a genuine designer bag that will stand the test of time.
Speaking of authenticity – when it comes to buying designer bags, it is important to look for signs that it is genuine. First, the bag should come with a tag and a serial number. Also, the materials used should be of high quality, and the stitching should be done perfectly. Additionally, you can check the logos carefully and ensure that they are all in place and of the same font and color.
Another thing to consider when purchasing a designer bag is the weight. A real designer bag will usually weigh more because of all the intricate details that have gone into making it. And if you really want to be sure, you can take it to the brand store and have it checked out.
The bottom line is this: if you’re going to invest in a designer bag, make sure it’s the real deal. The fake ones won’t give you much bang for your buck – they won’t look as good, won’t last you nearly as long and won’t stand up to intense use like a real designer bag will. So, if you want the best quality for your money, authentic designer bags are the way to go.
