Yesterday I found this incredible bag in our attic. It was covered in dust and yet it was still filled with something. When I shook the bag I heard something rattling at the bottom. That’s when I opened it up to take a look inside.
To my surprise, there were eleven diamonds of various sizes placed inside the bag. It’s no wonder why it was so heavy and why it hadn’t been moved out of the attic for so long. I was absolutely baffled. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Using my magnifying glass, I looked at each and every one of them closely. After a few minutes of careful inspection, what do you know!? Six of them were authentic diamonds and five of them were not.
I felt like I had struck gold! I was shaking with excitement and my heart raced. All I could think of was how I could use these diamonds to make something beautiful. I started thinking of ways to make them into a necklace or a bracelet.
After a few moments, I remembered that I needed to focus on the task at hand. A necklace or a bracelet was something I could do later, this moment I needed to make sure that all the diamonds were real. So, I dug out my diamond testing kit from my drawer and started to work.
It took me about half an hour to test each of them. However, it still felt like an eternity since I was so anxious to find out the results. When it was all said and done, it turned out that all the diamonds were real, thankfully, I had struck gold.
Now, I was at a crossroads trying to decide what I should with theses diamonds. Of course, I could make something stylish out of it or maybe sell them for a hefty sum of money. On the other hand, I could also keep the diamonds as a lovely reminder of the moments I found them in the attic and the feeling of accomplishment I felt when the analysis revealed that there were only jewels inside the bag.
I finally decided that I should keep the diamonds with me to remind me of this incredible moment. I thought of getting a safe to store them in or giving a bracelet to each of my best friends as a sign of our long-lasting friendship. Regardless off what I will eventually do, this certainly was a day to remember.
I could still hardly believe it that just a few hours ago I had only hoped to uncover something interesting in the attic and I ended up finding a bag full of real diamonds. It was an absolute stroke of luck.
I started dreaming of ways to use the diamonds to make something special for myself. It could be a precious necklace, a decorative bracelet or maybe even a unique ring. I was ready to make something beautiful out of these magical rocks.
Though before I could do it I had to recall a few things. I needed to make sure that I do not go overboard by spending too much on making the items. Additionally I definitely could not afford to make a mistake in the selection of the gem cutters or the jeweller, otherwise my whole endeavour may fail.
Therefore, I decided to put the whole idea on hold for a few days and actually do further research. That meant looking into jewellery making techniques, pricing of gem materials, and gathering more information on the origin of the gemstones.
With so much to do and so little time, the next few days were certainly going to be filled with very huge challenges, but I was ready to take them on. I was ready to make a pleasant surprise for myself.
I also pondered over the idea of finding another bag of diamonds as well just like the one I found in the attic. Musing over such interesting topics allowed me to sink deeper and deeper into my little world of dreams and possibilities.
I started to create a plan of action which included looking into the outgoing flights, travelling to a few faraway lands, speaking to the local villagers and trying to find answers which may point me in the right direction.
I was ready to tackle obstacles of language barriers and a strange terrain. One step at a time, I was determined to get closer to my goals. That is if I ever got the opportunity to do so.
Honestly, I wished to use the diamonds to honor the old traditional craftsmanship of jewelry making and its immense popularity over the last few centuries. Moreover, making jewelry out of these diamonds would be a perfect way to add a little extra sparkle and charm to special occasions in life.
