When I heard about the prices of fake bags in Istanbul, I was absolutely shocked. I had no idea that they could be so low, and just thought I’d take the opportunity to show my friends just how affordable it can be. I wanted to see all the different styles and options I had, so I decided to take a trip to Istanbul and get a firsthand look at what I could find.
The moment I stepped into the city and saw how many different fake bags were available, my jaw just dropped. It was unlike anything I’d ever seen before; the prices were so good that it was almost too good to be true. I wanted to get my hands on as many of the bags as I could, and quickly started haggling to get them at the best price.
The experience of bargaining in Istanbul was a whole different world. Everyone was friendly and willing to help, and even though Turkish money doesn’t go that far, I managed to get great deals on some of the bags. Even the most expensive ones I could find were still reasonably priced. I came away with a full suitcase of bags, all for a fraction of the price I’d pay at home.
As I started to inspect the bags I’d bought, I soon realised they were all of a very good quality. The materials were all really soft and felt luxurious, and the stitching was neat and very strong. I was also impressed by the attention to detail, and had not seen that kind of level of craftsmanship in a while.
My next experience in Istanbul was to visit some of the bigger markets to see what the prices on authentic bags were like. They were shockingly expensive, and nowhere near the same quality of craftsmanship as the fake bags. I wondered how on earth anyone could afford them; I could see why people were going for the knock offs instead!
I was also surprised to learn that even when the fake bags are clearly marked as replicas, the authorities do not take any interested nor seem to try and stop the sale of these bags. It didn’t make any sense to me; surely these should have been stopped as soon as they entered the country? I guess that’s one of the mysteries of Istanbul.
So, after my experience looking at all the different fake bags in Istanbul, I must say that I’m a fan. Not only are they of great quality and are super affordable, but they also come with no risk of getting into trouble. Best of all, they’re so stylish that nobody can tell them apart from the real deals!
