My best friend asked me to tell him all about my experience travelling to New York City to pick up a new bag. I was so excited — I had always wanted to visit the Big Apple and now I had an excuse to do so! As soon as I got there, I felt why so many people fell in love with the city: the lights, the sounds, the characters — it was mesmerizing.

Though carrying a closet-full of fake bags in a city like New York was a big no-no, I felt okay with a single piece. I left the store holding my big prize and headed straight to the airport, feeling on top of the world with my new designer fake bag.
The shopkeeper’s gentle touch and knowledge made me instantly fall in love with the piece—it was like it was made with a special intention and was made for me. As soon as I got back home, I took out my special bag and admired it. I must say it looks a lot like my real designer bags, just without the huge price tag. It’s great knowing that I still get to have my luxury bag but without breaking the bank this time.
From picking it up in the shady corner of New York City to bringing it along on my travels, my fake bag would always be my little reminder of “the Big Apple”. I was usually the envy of the crowd when I took out my fake bag and made a statement with it. I get so many compliments for choosing an alternative bag, and I never get tired of telling the story of how I stumbled upon it.
On my next visit to New York City, I’m confident I will be able to find a different kind of fake bag as well. I know that my next bag will be no exception.

I’m always on the hunt for something out of the ordinary, and I find that exploring the various hidden alleyways of NYC helps me find that something special that I’m looking for. Plus, bargaining with the locals is always fun! But more importantly, the experience has been totally unique, and I’m glad that I gave it a try.
