fake coach bag misspelled

My friend, do you remember when I was so excited last week, excitedly telling you about a great find that I stumbled upon at the store? I had been searching for a fake Coach bag to give to my best friend for her birthday, but they were sold out of that design everywhere. So, I looked around for a similar item and I walked away with this beauty. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until I got home when I proudly wrapped the gift, that I realized they had misspelled my friend’s name on the side of the bag.

I had to laugh at myself, how silly can one be! After all, she was going to get her first designer handbag and it had her name printed on it misspelled. To be honest, I was quite shocked and embarrassed when I realized this mistake. But the thing was, there was nothing I could do but just accept it.

I had to pause and humble myself – I was so focused on getting a bag with the right design that I overlooked the details. But it’s funny how these little things like a misspelled name can be so significant in the grand scheme of things. It also made me realized how life is all about attention to detail and if you’re not on your toes you could let a baby go out with two left shoes.

On the other hand, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if I let the bag be with a misspelled name. Surely, it would be a unique reminder of our friendship, something that she could always remember, cherish, and smile about. After some deliberation, I decided to give her the bag with the misspelled name on it and explain why I did it.

To my surprise, my friend was really touched and her joy on opening the gift was so infectious, it made me tear up a little. Although she’s already ordered the right bag with correct spelling, but she said no other bag ever would have the same meaning like this one does. We both had a good laugh about it and I gained a valuable lesson from this fiasco.

Little details matters if our efforts and goal is to really commemorate or honor someone special in our lives. Even something so little as a name spelled wrong could evoke strong emotions with a greater connection and appreciation for that person. It made me realized that it’s not the extravagance, but rather how we recall moments and experiences with others that count the most.
