Wow! I can’t believe it! I just found out that someone is actually selling a fake Furla candy bag. I almost feel like passing out—it’s like my world has been rocked. What I find so fascinating, though, is how they’ve managed to replicate a designer bag to perfection. Even the dust bag is just like the real one! The color, fabric, design, and shape, all look spot on. I bet the price tag must have been quite difficult to replicate as well.
I got myself to do some “forensic sleuthing” and do some research into this bag. I learned that knock off designers are becoming more creative in replicating details that can easily be omitted and added in. The online store even has “hologram” proof to back up that the bag is real lol.
I’m highly skeptical of this bag and feel that it looks too good to be true. Does anyone actually fall for this scam? My opinions are divided on this one. It’s definitely a nice touch that they put in all that effort into replicating the bag according to its exact specifications though.
So I’m wandering off on a tangent here, but I got to thinking the other day–when is it okay to purchase fake designer bags? Is it ever okay to buy a fake bag? After much deliberation, I think it may be okay to buy a knock off, if it is to stand in until you are able to afford the real deal. The risk of getting caught out with a fake designer bag increases substantially if you’re splashing around with it.
I mean, I would rather get caught buying a knock off than the actual real deal without the necessary funds in my bank account. Then again, the price gap between fake and real is drastically different. I’m inclined to just save up and purchase the real deal than settle for the knockoff.
After all, there’s a certain sense of pride wearing a designer bag that you worked hard for, as opposed to purchasing a fake one. Plus, fake bags cover you with a sense of shame, as well as disappointment knowing that you didn’t get the real thing.
Speaking of that, if no one warns you to stay away, how do you know if it’s a genuine designer bag or a fake one? Well, you can always check the materials used in the bag, the logo, the zippers and the details. Fake bags just don’t have the same construction as the real ones, so you can always tell just by taking a look.
Whenever I go shopping for a designer bag, I take this info into account and make sure to ask if I can take a good look to make sure the bag I’m getting isn’t fake!
