When I was a teenager, I was obsessed with Coach bags. I wanted to own every single one of their amazing designs! But as I became older, I realized that I can’t afford all of them and that some of my friends were carrying fake Coach bags. That’s when I knew I had to figure out how to spot a fake Coach bag by serial number.
So, first thing, I did some research on the internet and found out that the serial numbers on Coach bags usually consist of fifteen digits and liaisons. This number usually goes from nine digits followed by the letters FDH or six digits followed by the letters FDG. The letters in the serial number usually tell us the fourteenth and fifteenth digits in the number.
Second, the serial number should be printed inside a pocket of the bag. Also, make sure that the DN code which is part of the code number is authentic. All of these details should appear inside a pocket in the bag.
Thirdly, the numbers need to be checked to make sure it is spelled correctly. The real Coach bags have numbers that are labeled correctly with no spelling mistakes. So, it is important to take a good look and thoroughly check the labels.
Fourthly, look for the authenticity card. Real Coach bags always come with an authenticity card, so if the one you have is missing, it’s a sign that the bag is a fake.
And lastly, make sure that the bag has the correct color and fabric. It is important to know what a real bag looks and feels like. Feel the fabric and compare the color of the bag to a real Coach bag.
Knowing these tips has certainly come in handy for me, and I hope it does the same for you. Now, you will be able to protect yourself from buying a fake Coach bag!
