I have heard horror stories too about people buying a fake weed bag thinking that they were getting the real deal, only to be fooled into something else entirely. From the way my buddies described it, it was pretty disheartening.
So, when I saw this fake weed bag, I felt duped and so angry,I nearly lost it. All I could think of was, “what kind of a twisted game is this? That someone takes advantage of an innocent person and sells them this fake weed stuff?”
I guess the fake weed bag issue is more complicated than I thought. On one hand, even though I was duped into buying something that wasn’t real, at least it could’ve potentially saved me from getting in trouble with the law. That being said, it could also be dangerous in that people could be taking fake weed unknowingly.
Recently, I visited a corner store that had fake weed bags casually lying on the shelves. Naturally, I was bewildered and just couldn’t wrap my head around the situation. It just seemed so wrong.
I cannot really fathom the thought behind the fake weed bags. It just doesn’t sit well with me. I mean, it’s natural for some people to walk into stores with a craving for weed, and end up getting duped and taken advantage of simply because of the fake weed bags.
What’s worse is that many of these people don’t seem to even care; they just want a hit, and don’t do their research! What galls me even more is that these bags entice kids and young adults to buy them. They don’t even realize that what they’re buying isn’t even close to real. It makes me so sad to think about this.
At the same time, I understand the economics behind the fake weed bags. They are easy and cheap to make; just fill a bag with herbs or anything that looks like weed, and you’re done. Fake weed bags are also much easier to transport and distribute than real marijuana.
However, I feel that there should be more awareness of the kinds of risks that come with buying fake weed bags. People should be more informed and knowledgeable about what’s in these bags before making any purchases, and they should also get familiar with laws and regulations in their respective states. That way, nobody will be taken advantage of, and people can make an informed decision when it comes to weed.
