I recall the time I got my first Fake designer bag. It was an exciting yet considered risky move on my part. My friends had warned me about people spotting a Fake instantly. But I thought, why not take a chance? After all, if anyone knows how to rock them, why shouldn’t it be me? It was a really bold move, but I was determined to take the risk.
My first designer fake experience was a blast. I felt like I was on top of the world. I was wearing a bag that cost me way less than the one other people around me were wearing. It was huge and I was feeling totally badass. I described the bag it on my blog so I could brag, but it was more of a subtle way, like, “Check out my stylish new designer bag”.
I walked around with my head held high like I had something unique. I was so proud of myself that no one could tell the difference and no one knew it was fake. I felt superior, like I had gotten away with something. I was thinking to myself, “My secret’s safe”. Until one day, someone pointed at me and said “That can’t be real. It’s too good to be true”. The moment of truth had arrived.
In that moment, I was embarrassed. It was like someone had just ripped me apart in front of everyone. I felt embarrassed, angry, sad and frustrated. I wanted to just disappear. In order to keep my secret, I just walked away and pretended that nothing had happened. I kept the bag and the lessons I had learned and kept it to myself.
Going forward, I decided to only buy designer fakes from reliable and authentic sources. It’s not like I’m trying to fool anyone, but rather, I want to get the same designer look without having to pay full price. I’ve also become more careful about what I buy, and if I’m not sure about something, I just don’t buy it.
Although I have encountered some embarrassing and uncomfortable situations, I still think designer fakes can be a great way to get the same look without going bankrupt. It’s a compromise, I guess. Of course, some people will look down upon it but I don’t really care. I believe there is nothing wrong with saving money and getting a good deal.
These days, I do my research before I purchase. I will always take the time to research the specifics of the designer, read reviews from customers who have bought fake designer bags, and even purchase pre owned bags from reliable websites. This has been the only way I have managed to find decent bags without breaking the bank. Plus, it’s an additional way to get the designer look and style that I’m after.
I still take the risk and buy designer fakes occasionally because I get to feel like I’m part of the designer scene without actually breaking the bank. It’s the perfect balance between looking good and feeling good about the money I’m spending. Plus, I get to experience the feeling of being on top of the world, and no one knows the difference. That’s something that can’t be taken away from me.
