It all started last weekend when I went to Nordstrom with my best friend, Emily. We were both super excited to do some shopping, and we couldn’t wait to check out the newest designer bags. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we figured it would be a fun day.
Little did we know that it would end up being an awful experience. We picked out a few bags, and when it was time to pay, the cashier said that Nordstrom had sent us a fake bag. We were stunned and couldn’t believe it.
We asked the cashier why they would send us a fake bag, and she said that Nordstrom was sending out knock offs. We were horrified and couldn’t believe that such a reputable store would do something like this. We were so exasperated that we almost left without buying anything.
But we decided to stay and see if we could get the situation resolved. We asked to talk to a manager, and after a protracted negotiation, we were able to get a refund. Although it wasn’t quite what we had in mind when we came to Nordstrom, it was better than leaving empty-handed.
It was a learning experience for sure. We now know to be more vigilant when buying from Nordstrom. Emily and I are shocked that this sort of thing could happen, especially from a store that is supposed to be one of the most prestigious and trustworthy. We just want other people to know about this so they can avoid being scammed.
The experience even made me a bit leery of buying designer items in general, which I never was before. I take comfort in the fact that Nordstrom refunded us, but I’m still a bit wary when I shop for designer items. I’m sure many people have experienced similar situations, and I’m sure that Nordstrom isn’t the only retailer to send out fake bags.
We won’t be letting this experience keep us from shopping at Nordstrom, but we will be sure to double-check that all of our designer goods are the real deal. I’m sure Emily and I will be much more careful next time we’re shopping for something expensive.
Now, we just have to make sure that Nordstrom takes their customers more seriously in the future. I’m hoping that more people can come forward and share their experiences with fake merchandise so that Nordstrom can do something about it and prevent this sort of thing from happening again.
We still feel betrayed by Nordstrom and can’t believe that this was allowed to happen. My friends and family are still completely shocked about the ordeal. I keep telling them that it’s important to be extra vigilant when buying expensive items, but it still has left a sour taste in our mouths.
We now make sure to research and read reviews before we decide to make a purchase. That way, we know that the item is not only authentic but of good quality too. We never want to risk falling victim to a fake purchase ever again. In the future, we’ll be sure to always get our designer items from a reliable source.
It still surprises us that something like this would happen. Nordstrom is one of the most renowned retailers and a store that people trust. How could they have had knock offs on the shelves? It’s unthinkable and a huge letdown for all Nordstrom customers.
It’s completely unacceptable that Nordstrom would send out fake bags, so we urge everyone to be extra careful when shopping. After all, no one wants to be taken advantage of. We all deserve better than that, and we urge Nordstrom to take the necessary measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
