I first heard about the paper bag fake hornets nest from a friend who lives in the country. He said his neighbor had come up with the idea after being constantly terrorized by the hornets in his garden. He asked my friend to help him make some, and as soon as he saw how it worked, he was hooked!
He explained that the fake hornets nest is really easy to make and you don’t need any fancy materials either. All you need are some paper bags, string, and sticks. He said that he’d hang the fake nests in strategic places around his garden and the hornets seemed to stay away.
I was so surprised to hear about something like this – especially since it’s totally natural, and you don’t even need chemicals to protect your home or garden. I couldn’t wait to try it out for myself! So when I got home from the visit, I decided to make a few paper bag fake hornets nests and scatter them around my garden.
And as soon as I got them up, the hornets just disappeared! I honestly couldn’t believe it – no more buzzing, no more swarming of hornets all over the place. I’m so relieved and happy to not have to deal with all that anymore.
Furthermore, I now to take my paper bag fake hornets nests with me on camping trips and picnics in the woods, too. I never know when I might need some extra protection from swarms of hornets, so it’s nice to have this tool in my arsenal. Plus, they look cool!
I got all of my supplies from my local hardware store and I think I might have spent less than $10 on them all. It’s so amazing that such a simple and affordable solution can provide so much protection in such a short amount of time.
Now, not only am I free from the hornets swarms, I can also use my paper bag fake hornet nest to decorate my home. I’ve placed a couple around my garden as decorations and they are really eye-catching and add such a great rustic charm to my outdoor setting.
Moreover, I’m also planning to use some of these for a craft project that I’m currently working on – using them as part of an interesting pattern in a quilt I’m planning to make. They would look so cute and would complement the rest of the quilt.
What do you think about paper bag fake hornets nests? Have you heard about them before? I’d love to hear what you think!
