I’m sure you have heard of the Stussy sling bag, it is a unique and stylish purse used by many of the most fashionable celebrities. I bet you are wondering what the fuss about this fashionable accessory is all about? Well let me tell you all about it!
It all started when I spotted the Stussy sling bag on Instagram. It was being pictured by some of the most fashionable influencers and I instantly knew I needed to get my hands on it. After doing some research I finally found out that it was a “original” branded product, however I also stumbled upon many “fake” versions of it on multiple online stores.
The original Stussy sling bag costs around $200 or more of course, which was a little too pricey for me. The fake versions however, ranged from $20 – $80 with minimal to possibly no difference in the quality. Naturally, this had me re-thinking my “original’ purchase and instead I opted for the much more affordable “fake” version.
When I received the “fake” sling bag I was pleasantly surprised to find that overall it resembled the original quite well, I’d even go so far as to say that it was almost indistinguishable from the original product. It had all the same features, the material was of no difference in quality and it even came with the signature Stussy logo inscribed on the bag!
Having said that, I must admit that there was still a lingering doubt in my mind that the fake version might not last as long as the original, especially in the longterm. But, I wanted to test out this theory and see how it performs in the longrun so I have been using it for some months now and I’m happy to report that my sling bag is still just as in perfect condition as the day I bought it.
The “fake” version of the Stussy sling bag certainly met my expectations. It was stylish, fashionable, of good quality and very affordable, which is exactly what I was looking for! To this date, I am still a very happy customer and will definitely be buying fake versions of the Stussy Sling Bag instead of the original.
After using the fake version I did some more research and I discovered that, even though both versions look remarkably similar, the “original” is slightly heavier due to its hardware. This is because the “fake” version has plastic hardware instead of the metal ones used in the original. Therefore, the weight difference can easily be felt and is quite apparent.
Apart from the weight difference, I also noticed that the “fake” version of this bag was lacking in comparison to the “original” when it came to the small features placed around the bag. It may have been due to the lower price tag but I wasn’t expecting to find that there was a difference in the tiny details.
Despite that, I still think that buying the “fake” version of the Stussy sling bag is definitely worth it. It’s perfect for those who are on a budget or who simply do not want to make a costly purchase. It may not have all the same features as the “original” but it certainly offers a similar look and feel, all at a much more affordable price.
